Project Title: Finding developmental aspects and possible drug targets of TS and OCD: metabotropic glutamatergic mechanisms in a neurodevelopmental rat model of repetitive behaviors

Short Bio

I was born in Monza, Italy, in 1988. I obtained a Bachelor in biotechnology at Universitá degli studi Milano Bicocca in 2010. During summer 2007 and 2009 I had an intership at National Institute of Health, Frederick MD, USA, I obtained my Master degree in medical biotechnology at Università Milano Bicocca working on a project titled “effect of three generations of polymeric nanoparticles on nitric oxide production by endothelial cells”, developed in collaboration with Université Paris Sud-XI. Since august 2013 I am working as PhD student in Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma on project titled " development of a Tourette syndrome model in juvenile rats".
